My focus is on Mid-Century and Modern design

Although I have an appreciation for well-designed, well-constructed homes attributed to other periods, I am particularly drawn to the elegant simplicity of Mid-Century Modern and Modern homes. I am always eager to let my clients know when one of these exciting properties comes to the market — whether it’s a lovingly preserved masterpiece or a neglected treasure begging to be restored.

With a background in Fine Art, and years of realty experience, I feel more than qualified to provide an online meeting place for all of you who are equally thrilled by these very special places. And I understand why you’re compelled to seek out the dramatic architectural designs and natural materials that exemplify the Mid-Century and Modern styles.

There aren’t many of the finest examples still available because many were torn down to make way for much larger, more elaborate homes. I rejoice in the recent resurgence of interest in this period, not only because I love to see them and to sell them, but because I believe it’s so very important to save them. They’re a vital part of the story of architecture, especially because they represent a period in our history that was super-charged with American innovation, experimentation and discovery.

One of the wonderful advantages for owners of Mid-Century and Modern homes is the fact that the architect or others who worked on the house may still be alive and willing to offer advice and support. Original drawings are often available, and sometimes photos of the original furniture. You may even find the “dream come true” situation where the home is almost a museum of the era!

Let’s talk about your dream property. I look forward to working with you and for you as your adventure unfolds.
